Screw locking adhesive 10ml Loctite 243

Description

Loctite 243 screw adhesive has a medium resistance to loosening which allows disassembly with hand tools.

Loctite 243 is suitable for all threaded metal joints, even on passive substrates (stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces, etc.). Prevents weakening of parts exposed to vibration, such as pumps, gearboxes or presses. Maximum thread size M36.

If the product is to be applied at an ambient temperature below 5 degrees C, use an activator first (Loctite 7649).

Advantages of Loctite 243:

They have been shown to tolerate slight contamination of industrial oils, e.g. engine oils, anticorrosive oils and coolants (cutting)
