Description
🟧 Product description – Set of floating blades for concrete helicopters (150 x 350 mm)
Floating blades, also known as concrete helicopter shoes, are used during the rough finishing stage of concrete, serving to level and initially compact the poured surface.
They can replace finishing discs, particularly in the case of concrete finishers with lower engine power or when working on high-adhesion concrete, where a more uniform distribution of pressure across the surface is required.
The floating blades are fitted over the standard finishing blades; in effect, they ‘slip over’ the finisher’s existing blades and provide a larger working surface, which helps to achieve a smoother concrete finish.
For twin-rotor concrete finishers, left- and right-hand floating blades are used, corresponding to the direction of rotation of the rotors.
