Tips and recommendations for using garden shears with battery, 21V, 2Ah
Before operating the Garden Shears with battery or in case of mounting/replacing some parts, make sure that it is switched off and not connected to the electricity supply.
Charging Battery:
• Make sure that the battery is in perfect condition. Each part must be checked to ensure that there are no defects and no noises are heard.
• Before charging, make sure the battery power switch is in the OFF position. During charging, it is normal for the charger and the battery to be warm.
• It is recommended to charge once every 3 months, to ensure that the life of the battery is not affected by reduced use.
• For batteries that are new or unused for a long period of time, it will need approximately 5 charge-discharge cycles before reaching maximum capacity.
• Do not recharge an already fully charged battery, this will reduce the life and efficiency of the battery.
• Do not place the battery near the heat source, at high temperatures, otherwise the battery may explode.
• Do not charge the battery in wet environments.
• The scissors must be disconnected from the battery during charging.
• The red LED indicates charging.
• The red LED turns off and the green LED lights up when charging is complete.
Installation of cutting blades:
• Use only sharp blades to obtain a high cutting performance and to protect the device and the battery.
• Keep the cutting blades clean in all situations.
• After each use of scissors, you must:
- clean the cutting blade (with a cloth);
- lubricate the cutting blade with oil.
• Broken, bent or damaged blades must be replaced.
• You can smooth the fine grooves on the blades yourself. For this, grind the blades with a grinding stone. For a good cutting performance, it is necessary to use a well-sharpened blade.
