Titanikel technology is developed by the Hyway company in Taiwan and the National Center for University Materials Research, as a result of many years of research and study. Titanium plating is a method of steam plating at high temperatures. The temperature can reach 900 to 1000 degrees C. In general, aluminum and its alloys can not withstand such a high temperature.
What does the Titanikel cylinder have in addition compared to the others:
-The inside of the cylinder is coated with a layer of titanium. It is a multi-composite galvanizing method. Because titanium is a high-strength metal, only diamonds can be used to finish the post-plating cylinder. The surface of the cylinder after titanium plating will become very shiny and smooth which greatly reduces the coefficient of friction between the piston and the piston rings.
